JSPL Foundation supports Reconstruction of Century Old School for Girls at Mathura

       Dilapidated old building of Sri Kishori Raman Girls’ Inter College, Mathura would be replaced with a new building  Foundation laying ceremony / Bhumi Pujan for Construction of the new building held  The New Building of 30000 sq. ft. with all new amenities can house approx. 5000 girl children

JSPL Foundation, under theleadership of Ms Shallu Jindal and guidance of Mr Naveen Jindal is working forthe cause of empowerment of women and education of children, especially fromrural and vulnerable communities. --                        Raipur, /////: Foundation laying ceremony and Bhumi Pujan for JSPL Foundation supported construction of news building to replace the existing dilapidated building of Sri Kishori Raman Girls’ Inter College, Mathura has been held yesterday in presence of District Magistrate Mr Sarvagya Ram Mishra, SSP Mr Gaurav Grover, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mr Kranti Shekhar, Social Activist Ms Priyal Bhardwaj and various other dignitaries. Chairperson of JSPL Foundation Ms Shallu Jindal attended the ceremony through virtual mode.

                               In her address in the function, Ms Jindal said,  " Empowering the girl child with education is the best and the wisest option a nation could have in empowering itself. With the construction of new building of the historic 114 year old Kishori Raman Girls’ Inter College, we are partnering for promotion of girls’ education and contributing to expand the horizon of equitable and inclusive development of India.

                           Sri Kishori Raman Girls’ Inter College is a century old school in Mathura spearheading education of girl children, especially from the economically weaker, lower and lower middle strata of the society in the region. The old building is in a dilapidated condition and dangerous to be habitable.

                             Continuing the legacy of Mr Om Prakash Jindal, Visionary and Founder, OP Jindal Group to promote girl child education for holistic development of the society, JSPL Foundation, under the leadership of Chairman of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) Mr Naveen Jindal and Chairperson of JSPL Foundation Ms Shallu Jindal is supporting for Construction of a new building in place of the existing old structure. The new anti-seismic school Building will have approximately 30,000 sqft of construction area, with all new amenities, good quality toilets, a grand entrance to the school and a Ramp for divyang. It can house approximately 5000 girl child in two shifts.

                       The new school building has been designed after considering to school management requirements, with being sympatric to availability of ample daylight and cross air ventilation, better sanitation and sewerage system, and good vastu principles, with safety , and a grand iconic image. This new building will be three-storied and is being constructed aligned to the ancient local wisdom. This will provide employment to locals especially during present Covid-19 induced distress in the region.

This building is being designed, detailed, and executed with technical inputs from JSPL Architecture-Construction and JRL Sonipat, a building and construction wing of JSPL. The construction work of the building is expected to be completed within one year time.

 स्कूल भवन के भूमि पूजन में बेटियों को उत्तम शिक्षा प्रदान करने का आह्वान  संस्थापक चेयरमैन श्री ओपी जिन्दल जी के बताए मार्ग पर चलकर जेएसपीएल के चेयरमैन  नवीन जिन्दल के समर्थन से बालिका शिक्षा में योगदान का संकल्प

जेएसपीएल फाउंडेशन भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की जन्मभूमि मथुरा में 100 साल पुराने गर्ल्स इंटर कॉलेज के जीर्णोद्धार में सहयोग करेगा  

       रायपुर, //////  जेएसपीएल फाउंडेशन की चेयरपर्सन श्रीमती शालू जिन्दल ने कहा है कि बेटियां सशक्त होंगी तभी हमारा देश भारत मजबूत होगा। श्रीमती जिन्दल कल भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की जन्मभूमि मथुरा में 1914 में स्थापित श्री किशोरी रमन गर्ल्स इंटर कॉलेज के नए भवन के भूमि पूजन समारोह में ऑनलाइन अपने विचार प्रकट कर रही थीं। जेएसपीएल फाउंडेशन इस इंटर कॉलेज के भवन के जीर्णोद्धार में सहयोग करेगा। ओपी जिन्दल ग्रुप के संस्थापक चेयरमैन श्री ओपी जिन्दल जी के बताए मार्ग पर चलकर जेएसपीएल चेयरमैन श्री नवीन जिन्दल के समर्थन और सहयोग से बेटियों की उत्तम शिक्षा के लिए फाउंडेशन ने यह अनूठी पहल की है।  

               श्रीमती जिन्दल ने कहा कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति समाज के लिए कुछ न कुछ अच्छा करने का प्रयास करता रहता है। उनकी भी एक अभिलाषा है कि वह देश की बेटियों को अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाने का प्रयास करें। बेटियां राष्ट्र निर्माण में सर्वश्रेष्ठ योगदान कर सकती हैं। बृज शिक्षा कायाकल्प के कार्यों की सराहना करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश, राजस्थान और बिहार के 500 से अधिक स्कूलों में शैक्षिक सुविधाओं के विकास में योगदान कर रही यह संस्था हमारे लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत है। श्रीमती जिन्दल ने कहा कि लड़कों की तरह लड़कियों के भी सपने होते हैं। वे सीखना चाहती हैं,सपने पूरे करना चाहती हैं,अपनी क्षमता दिखाना चाहती हैं, काम करके परिवार की मददगार भी बनना चाहती हैं और इस तरह समाज निर्माण में भी योगदान करना चाहती हैं। यूनिसेफ के आंकड़ों का हवाला देते हुए उन्होंने आह्वान किया कि हम सभी बेटियों को शिक्षित करने का बीड़ा उठाएं तो देश की तस्वीर में खुशहाली और संपन्नता का रंग घुल जाएगा। खुशी की बात यह है कि अब युग बदल रहा है। हम सभी को पूरे समर्पण से बेटियों को आगे बढ़ाने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। शिक्षा ही एकमात्र ऐसा माध्यम है, जो बेटियों को सशक्त बना सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि एक साक्षर लड़की सदैव अपने भाइयों-बहनों,पड़ोसियों को शिक्षित करने का प्रयास करेगी; इससे एक नई चेतना आएगी, जो कुशलता को बढ़ावा देगी और रोजगार के अनगिनत अवसर भी पैदा करेगी। इसलिए हमें आत्मनिर्भर भारत के सपने साकार करने के लिए बेटियों को उत्तम शिक्षा प्रदान करने की प्रक्रिया में और तेजी लानी होगी।

                  1914 में स्थापित श्री किशोरी रमन बालिका इंटर कॉलेज बालिका शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सराहनीय कार्य कर रहा है। खासकर आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर और निम्न-मध्यवर्गीय परिवारों की बेटियों के भविष्य निर्माण के लिए यह इंटर कॉलेज प्रयासरत है। जेएसपीएल फाउंडेशन ने इसके जीर्ण-शीर्ण भवन को नया रूप देने में सहयोग की पहल की है। आधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त लगभग 30 हजार वर्गफुट में यह भवन तैयार होगा जो भूकंप रोधी भी होगा। स्कूल में दिव्यांग बच्चों के लिए भी विशेष व्यवस्थाएं की जाएंगी। तीन मंजिला नए भवन में लगभग 5000 बेटियों को दो पालियों में उत्तम शिक्षा दी जाएगी। वास्तु को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्कूल भवन का निर्माण इस तरह किया जाएगा कि बच्चियों को सूर्य का प्रकाश और स्वच्छ वायु सदैव मिले। यह स्कूल स्थानीय प्रतिभाओं के लिए रोजगार का माध्यम भी बनेगा। इस भवन के डिजायन और तकनीकी सहयोग का दायित्व जेएसपीएल-आर्किटेक्चर कंस्ट्रक्शन और जेआरएल, सोनीपत उठाएगा। उम्मीद है कि एक साल में यह भवन बनकर तैयार हो जाएगा।

इस अवसर पर मथुरा के जिलाधिकारी सर्वज्ञ राम मिश्रा, वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक गौरव ग्रोवर, एसडीएम क्रांति शेखर, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता प्रियल भारद्वाज और अनेक गण्यमान्य व्यक्ति मौजूद थे। गौरतलब है कि जेएसपीएल फाउंडेशन श्रीमती शालू जिन्दल के नेतृत्व और श्री नवीन जिन्दल के मार्गदर्शन में महिला सशक्तीकरण और बाल शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय कार्य कर रहा है। फाउंडेशन का सपना है कि खासकर ग्रामीण परिवेश और कमजोर परिवार सशक्त बनें और राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान करें।   

                 श्रीमती जिन्दल के प्रयासों से देश में अनेक शैक्षिक संस्थाओं की स्थापना हुई है, जो शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अनुपम योगदान कर रहे हैं। इनमें ओपी जिन्दल ग्लोबल यूनिवर्सिटी-सोनीपत, ओपी जिन्दल यूनिवर्सिटी-रायगढ़, जिन्दल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पावर टेक्नोलॉजी-तमनार, छत्तीसगढ़, ओडिशा और झारखंड में संचालित ओपी जिन्दल स्कूल और ओपी जिन्दल कम्युनिटी कॉलेज प्रमुख हैं। इसके अलावा जेएसपीएल फाउंडेशन अनेक स्थानों पर स्कूलों को अध्ययन सामग्री, छात्रवृत्ति समेत अनेक बुनियादी सुविधाएं भी मुहैया करा रहा है। श्रीमती जिन्दल की प्रेरणा से स्थापित जिन्दल आर्ट इंस्टीट्यूट (जय) भारतीय शास्त्रीय नृत्य एवं कला का विश्व स्तर पर प्रचार एवं विस्तार कर रहा है।
