Reaffirming Commitment to Responsible Mining and Nation-Building

He said, “Scientific, sustainable, and spreadingsmiles, our company is emerging as the global benchmark of Responsible Mining. NMDC will becontributing 50+ million tonnes in FY25 to the infrastructure aspirations of the country. As ofDecember 2025, we produced 36.9 million tonnes of ore - outpacing the production over CPLYby 20 percent. In January 2026, NMDC commenced mining operations in Tokisud North Coal
Block, Jharakhand - introducing a new commodity, new mine, and new geography to itsportfolio. And, this is just the start of our plans for the year.” He further mentioned, “We have seta high standard, one that inspires confidence and admiration both within and beyond NMDC.
And for that we earned the coveted Great Place to Work Certification”
As a part of the Republic Day celebration, NMDC organised the ‘Republic Day Run’ across itsprojects in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, symbolising unity, fitness, and collective progress. Therun at Bacheli and Kirandul Projects was graced by NMDC’s Brand Ambassador and two-time
