PROMISING START TO FY25, NMDC TARGETS 50 MT

Hyderabad, 2 May 2024 /////  National mining company, NMDC produced 3.48 million tonnes and sold 3.53 million tonnes of iron ore in the first month of FY25.

On the back of record 45 MT volumes in FY24, NMDC’s strong performance continued. While production matched upto to the corresponding period last year, the company achieved close to 3% growth in sales from April 2023.

NMDC’s Kirandul and Donimalai iron ore mining complexes delivered their best ever April month production, with 13.59 LT and 11.33 LT respectively. Production volumes were up by 7% in Kirandul and 12% in Donimalai over CPLY. The company’s Bacheli Complex dispatched 14.86 LT in April 2024, which is 12% more than April 2023 and its highest ever April month dispatch since inception.

Shri Amitava Mukherjee, CMD (Additional Charge) expressed his confidence in NMDC’s caliber to meet the country’s appetite for iron and steel. He said, “We are targeting north of 10% growth in our volumes in FY25 attuned to the growth trajectory of India’s iron ore output and demand. All our mining complexes have delivered a promising start and are geared up to harmonize with the new mining technologies, navigate sectoral challenges, and achieve 50 MT.”

वित्त वर्ष 25 की आशाजनक शुरुआत, एनएमडीसी ने 50 एमटी का रखा लक्ष्य

हैदराबाद, 2 मई 2024 /////  राष्ट्रीय खनन कंपनी, एनएमडीसी ने वित्त वर्ष 25 के पहले महीने में लौह अयस्क का 3.48 मिलियन टन का उत्पादन किया और 3.53 मिलियन टन बिक्री की ।

वित्त वर्ष 24 में रिकार्ड 45 एमटी वॉल्यूम की पृष्ठभूमि में एनएमडीसी का मजबूत प्रदर्शन जारी रहा । जहां उत्पादन पिछले वर्ष की इसी अवधि के अनुरूप था, कंपनी ने अप्रैल 2023 की तुलना में बिक्री में लगभग 3% की वृद्धि हासिल की ।

एनएमडीसी के किरंदुल और दोणिमलै लौह अयस्क खनन परिसरों ने क्रमश: 13.59 एलटी और 11.33 एलटी  उत्पादन के साथ अप्रैल माह का अबतक का सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन किया । पिछले वित्त वर्ष की इसी अवधि की तुलना में किरंदुल में उत्पादन में 7% और दोणिमलै में 12% की वृद्धि हुई । कंपनी के बचेली कॉम्प्लेक्स ने अप्रैल 2024 में 14.86 एलटी प्रेषण किया, जो कि अप्रैल 2023 से 12% अधिक है और स्थापना के बाद से इसका अप्रैल माह में अबतक का सबसे अधिक प्रेषण है ।

अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक (अतिरिक्त प्रभार) श्री अमिताभ मुखर्जी ने देश की लौह और इस्पात की मांग को पूरा करने के लिए एनएमडीसी की क्षमता में विश्वास व्यक्त किया । उन्होंने कहा, “हम भारत के लौह अयस्क उत्पादन और मांग के विकास गति के अनुरूप वित्त वर्ष 25 में हमारे वॉल्यूम में 10% की वृद्धि को लक्षित कर रहे हैं । हमारे सभी खनन परिसरों ने एक आशाजनक शुरुआत की है और नई खनन प्रौद्योगिकी के साथ सामंजस्य स्थापित करने, उद्योग की चुनौतियों का सामना करने, और 50 एमटी की उपलब्धि हासिल करने के लिए तैयार हैं
