 NMDC’s Iron Veins Produce 45 Million Tonnes in FY24

Hyderabad, 1 April 2024:////  India’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC is now the first mining company in the country to cross the 45 million tonne mark. The company delivered unprecedented volumes in FY24, producing 45.1 MT and selling 44.8 MT of iron ore in the fiscal that closed this Sunday.

Proving its mettle as the nation’s Navratna, NMDC achieved a 10% growth in production and 16% growth in sales compared to FY23 volumes. The industry leader, NMDC achieving its best ever yearly physical performance inspired confidence in the future of India’s iron and steel economy.

The state-run mining company recorded 13.31 MT production and 12.54 MT sales in the fourth quarter of FY24, with 4.86 MT produced and 3.96 MT sold in the month of March 2024.

In the runup to this milestone, NMDC’s major iron ore mines - Kirandul and Bacheli in Chhattisgarh, and Donimalai in Karnataka delivered their highest-ever annual production in company history. The bottlenecks in pellet production were resolved leading to the company’s peak volume of 2.65 lakh tonnes pellet production.

With strategic agility towards capacity building, NMDC also outperformed in CAPEX with an expenditure of Rs. 2,014 crores against the target of Rs. 1,769 crores in FY24, which is up by 14%. 

Crowning these achievements, the company received necessary permissions from the Honourable Supreme Court and MoEFCC and consequently resumed mining operations at its Diamond Mining Project in Panna, Madhya Pradesh during FY24.

हैदराबाद, 1 अप्रैल 2024:/// भारतकी सबसेबड़ी लौहअयस्कउत्पादक एनएमडीसी अब 45 मिलियनटन काआंकड़ा पार करने वाली देश की प्रथम खनन कंपनी बन गई  है।इस रविवार को समाप्त हुए वित्तीय वर्ष में कंपनी ने लौह अयस्क का 45.1 एमटी उत्पादन और 44.8 एमटी बिक्री कर वित्तीयवर्ष 24 में अभूतपूर्व आँकड़े प्राप्त किए हैं।

राष्ट्र के नवरत्न के रूप में एनएमडीसी ने अपनी योग्यता सिद्ध करते हुए वित्तीय वर्ष 2023 की तुलना में उत्पादन में 10% और बिक्री में 16% की वृद्धि की है ।उद्योग की अग्रणी कंपनी एनएमडीसी ने अपनी स्थापना के बाद अब तक का सर्वश्रेष्ठ भौतिक प्रदर्शनकर भारत की लौहऔर इस्पातअर्थव्यवस्था के भविष्य को प्रेरित किया है।सरकारीखनन कंपनीनेवित्तीयवर्ष 2024 कीचौथीतिमाहीमें 13.31 एमटी उत्पादनऔर 12.54 एमटी बिक्री दर्ज की है, जिसमें मार्च 2024 माह में 4.86 एमटीउत्पादनऔर 3.96 एमटी बिक्री शामिल है।

इस रिकार्ड को स्थापित करने के क्रममें, एनएमडीसी की प्रमुख लौह अयस्क खाने- छत्तीसगढ़ में किरंदुलऔर बचेली तथा कर्नाटक में दोणिमलै ने कंपनी के इतिहास में अपना सर्वोच्च वार्षिकउत्पादनकिया है। पैलेट उत्पादन में आने वाली बाधाओं का समाधान किया गया, जिससे कि कंपनीकी अधिकतम पैलेट उत्पादनमात्रा2.65 लाखटनको प्राप्त किया गया।क्षमता वृद्धि कीदिशामेंरणनीतिक कुशलता दिखाते हुए, एनएमडीसी ने वित्तीयवर्ष 2024 के लिए निर्धारित रू.1769 करोड़ के कैपेक्स लक्ष्य की तुलना में रू.2014 करोड़ के व्यय के साथ कैपेक्सके लक्ष्य को भी पीछे छोड़ दिया है।इन उपलब्धियों को हासिल करने में, कंपनी को माननीय उच्चतम न्या
