Balconagar; 30th August 2023/// : Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminium producer and a subsidiary of Vedanta Aluminium, recently organized a Mega Health Camp at Bhatgaon Village, BALCO, in collaboration with Help Age India. Undertaken with the aim of providing specialty healthcare services and enhancing the community’s overall well-being, the camp witnessed an exceptional response with around 200 people turning up to seek medical interventions.
A part of BALCO's Arogya Project, the mega health camp featured a range of specialized consultations, including ENT specialists, dentists, pediatricians, dermatologists, gynecologists, and physiotherapists, and included common medical tests like blood and sugar testing, and hemoglobin assessments. These free consultations not only facilitated early diagnoses but also raised awareness about the significance of timely treatment and care.
To extend its impact, the camp also had dedicated eye screening sessions that identified vision-related issues among the attendees. During the event, 18 cases of cataracts were identified, enabling prompt diagnosis and treatment consultations. This mega health camp had a far-reaching impact, spanning 45 communities and benefiting individuals of all ages, including children, women, men, and the elderly.
Puni Ram Nirmal, a resident of Bhatgaon, who attended the Mega health camp said, “I had been experiencing issues with my eyesight for quite some time. The mega health camp's comprehensive eye screening helped me learn about my cataract condition that required immediate treatment. I am truly grateful for the care and guidance provided by the medical team, who had not only outlined the necessary steps for my treatment but also guided me regarding the affordable healthcare options available at government facilities.”

बालकोनगर, 30 अगस्त, 2023।/// वेदांता समूह की कंपनी भारत एल्यूमिनियम कंपनी लिमिटेड (बालको) ने हेल्प एज इंडिया के सहयोग से भटगांव में एक मेगा हेल्थ कैंप का आयोजन किया। विशेष स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ प्रदान करने और समुदाय की भलाई को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से शुरू किए गए शिविर से लगभग 200 नागरिक लाभान्वित हुए।
बालको के आरोग्य परियोजना के अंतर्गत मेगा स्वास्थ्य शिविर का आयोजन किया जाता है, जिसमें ईएनटी विशेषज्ञ, दंत चिकित्सक, बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ, चर्म रोग विशेषज्ञ, स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ और फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट के साथ-साथ रक्त, डायबटीज एवं हीमोग्लोबिन जैसे जांच शामिल थे। इन निःशुल्क परामर्शों से न केवल शीघ्र निदान की सुविधा मिली बल्कि शहर के भीतर समय पर उपचार और देखभाल के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता भी बढ़ी।
शिविर में नेत्र जांच, जिसने समुदाय के भीतर दृष्टि संबंधी समस्याओं की पहचान की। आयोजन के दौरान मोतियाबिंद के 18 मामलों की पहचान की गई, जिससे शीघ्र निदान और उपचार परामर्श संभव हो सका। शिविर से 45 समुदाय के बच्चों, महिलाओं, पुरुषों और बुजुर्गों सहित सभी उम्र के लोगों को लाभ हुआ।
भटगांव के लाभार्थी पुनी राम निर्मल ने कहा कि मैं कई दिनों से आंख की समस्या का सामना कर रहा था। शिविर की नेत्र जांच से मुझे अपनी मोतियाबिंद की स्थिति की जानकारी हुई, जिसमें उपचार की आवश्यकता का पता चला। मैं मेडिकल टीम द्वारा प्रदान की गई देखभाल और जांच के लिए आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ। इलाज के लिए आवश्यक कदम के साथ-साथ सरकारी सुविधाओं पर उपलब्ध किफायती स्वास्थ्य देखभाल के विषय में भी बताया गया।
बालको के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी एवं निदेशक श्री राजेश कुमार ने कहा कि बालको में हम समुदाय को सुलभ और गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदान करने पर अत्यधिक महत्व देते हैं। हमारा मानना है कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं प्राप्त करने का अधिकार है। कंपनी दूरस्थ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और बच्चों के लिए इस क्षेत्र में चिकित्सा सेवाओं समृद्धशाली आकार देने का लक्ष्य लेकर चल रही है। त्रैमासिक मेगा स्वास्थ्य शिविर की मदद से बालको प्रबंधन सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत जरूरतमंदों के लिए बेहतरीन स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कटिबद्ध है।
