नगरनर स्टील प्लांट में एचआर कॉइल्स का परीक्षणउत्पादन प्रारंभ

  जगदलपुर/हैदराबाद, 2जुलाई 2023:/// एनएमडीसी स्टील लिमिटेड ने 30 जून, 2023 को अपनी रोलिंग मिल से हॉटरोल्ड कॉइल्स का परीक्षण उत्पादन प्रारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर एनएमडीसी और एनएसएल के सीएमडी (अतिरिक्तप्रभार) अमिताभ मुखर्जी और एनएमडीसी और एनएसएल के कार्यकारी निदेशक  श्दलीप कुमार मोहंती, निदेशक (उत्पादन), श्री विश्वनाथ सुरेश, निदेशक (वाणिज्यिक),श्री विनयकुमार, निदेशक (तकनीकी) तथा श्री के.प्रवीणकुमार, कार्यकारीनिदेशक (एनएसएल) उपस्थितथे।

एनएसएल,मेकॉन और डेनिएली की टीम ने राउरकेला इस्पाकत संयंत्र से प्राप्त 70 एमएम  सेमी- रोल्डप्लेटों  को चार्ज करके एकीकृत परीक्षण रन पूरा किया ।इस के पश्चा्त  29 जून 2023 को घोस्टरो लिंग तथा अन्य सिंक्रोनाइज़ेशन गतिविधि याँ की गईं, जिस का समापन 30 जून 2023 को टनल फर्नेसमें स्लैब प्राप्त  करने से हुआ, इसके परिणाम स्वरूप हॉटस्लैब की सफल रोलिंग हुई।

इस अत्याधुनिक हॉटस्ट्रिप मिल की आपूर्ति प्रौद्योगिकी प्रदाता मेसर्स डेनियल, इटली द्वारा की जाती है।स्थिरी करण के पश्चाोत , यह विभिन्न ग्रेडों के लगभग 2.89 मिलियन टन कॉइल्स, शीट्स औ प्लेट्स का उत्पादन करे गा। संयंत्र में निर्मित एचआरप्लेट्स का व्यापक रूप से एलपीजी सिलेंडर,  पुल, ऑटोमोबाइल ग्रेड, पाइप, स्टोरेज टैंक, बॉयलर तथा रेलवे वै गनों केलिएउपयोगकियाजाएगा।

इस शुभ अवसर पर बोलते हुए श्रीअमिताभ मुखर्जीने कहा कि  “आज अपने हॉटस्ट्रिप मिल का परीक्षण शुरू किया जो वास्तव में एनएमडीसी स्टील लिमिटेड के लिए गर्व का क्षण है। इस उपलब्धि ने एक अथवा दो महीने में सभी पैकेजों और रोल-आउट स्टील की कमीशनिंग औ र एकीकरण के समापन का मार्ग दिखाया है। 3.0 एमटीपीए इस्पारत संयंत्र की यह महत्वाकांक्षी परियोजना एनएमडीसी औ र एनएसएल के इतिहास में एक मील का पत्थर साबित हो

NSL commences Trial Production of HR Coils

JAGDALPUR/Hyderabad, 2 July 2023:///  NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) commenced trial production of Hot Rolled Coils from its Rolling Mill on30 June, 2023. The occasion was graced by Shri Amitava Mukherjee, CMD (Additional Charge) of NMDC and NSL and Functional Directorsof NMDC and NSL Shri Dilip Kumar Mohanty, Director (Production); Shri Vishwanath Suresh, Director (Commercial); Shri Vinay Kumar, Director (Technical) and Shri K Praveen Kumar, Executive Director (NSL).

The team of NSL, MECON &Danieli completed the integrated trial runs by charging 70mm semi-rolled plates sourced from Rourkela Steel Plant. This was followed by Ghost Rolling and other synchronisation activities on 29 June 2023 which culminated in taking slabs in the Tunnel Furnace on 30 June 2023, resulting in successful rolling of Hot Slabs.

This state-of-the-art Hot Strip Mill is supplied by technology provider M/s Danieli, Italy. After stabilisation, it will produce around 2.89 Million Tonnes of Coils, Sheets and Plates of different grades. The HR plates manufactured in the plant will be widely used for LPG cylinders, bridges, automobile grades, pipes, storage tanks, boilers and railway wagons.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Amitava Mukherjee said, “It is indeed a moment of pride for NMDC Steel Limited as they commence the trial of their Hot Strip Mill today. This achievement has paved the way for concluding the commissioning and integration of all the packages and roll-out steel in a month or so. This ambitious project commissioning of 3.0 MTPA Steel Plant will be a land mark in the history of NMDC and NSL.
