कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालय में "युवा नेतृत्व" पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजनसंपन्न

Nava Raipur 02/06/2023/// Kalinga University recently organized a workshop in partnership with the Guru GhasidasVishwavidyalaya (GGV) and United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).A one day workshop on ‘YuvaNetritva’ Leadership of Youth in Climate, Energy, Environment and Water Conservation was heldat Kalinga University Auditorium in collaboration with LIFE lifestyle forEnvironment and G20Bharat 2023 India.

The dignitaries began the program bylighting a traditional lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati. Dr. R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor of Kalinga University,gave a welcome speech. HePresented the University’s and academia’s perspectives on climate change green jobs & careers.MsSwetaPatnaik, UNICEFWater, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Specialist presented an overview on youth engagement in climate, energy, environment and water issues including green jobs in emerging sectors.  DrPratibha Singh, UNICEFWASH specialist shed light on climate resilient water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in institutions.  Mr Rajiv Gyani, Superintending Engineer from Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) made a presentation on Renewable Energy, Key initiatives of Government and the emerging market of green energy.

MrArpit Tiwari, State Coordinator and Officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathanmade a presentation on youth engagement and leadership in the areas of climate change.  MrRohitWadhwa, Procurement and contracting specialist of JalJeevan Mission has shared his experience on Government policies on green energy and possible career path for young people.  MrChandan of UNICEF and Professor DrArchana Yadav of Guru GhasidasVishwavidyalayaput a light on youth voice on climate action and behavior clubs in colleges and educational institutions. At the end of the programme there was a Question and Answer Session, a Panel discussion and a pledge taking ceremony. A large number of Kalinga University’s faculty members were part of the programme and took pledge.  DrArchana Yadav informed that the workshop was part of the collaboration project with UNICEF initiated under the leadership of Professor Dr. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Guru GhasidasVishwavidyalaya.

Mementoes were presented to the distinguished guests. Professor DrShilpi Bhattacharya, Dean Arts and Humanities and the workshop’s organizerproposed vote of thanks.  Dr. AakritiDewangan, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work was the convener of the workshop. Ms. GeetikaBramhbhatt, Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has moderated the session. The workshop has proven to be successful with the support of organizing committee members - Ms. TuhinaChoubey, Ms. GeetikaBramhbhatt, Dr. A. Rajshekhar, Dr A. Vijayanand, Dr. ShraddhaHirkane, Ms. JesikaMinj, Dr. Wafi Ahmed Khan, Mr. Sheikh Abdul Kadir, Dr. Vijaybhushan and other faculty members.

 नवा रायपुर 02/06/2023///  कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालयने हाल ही मेंगुरु घासीदास विश्वविद्यालय (जीजीवी) औरसंयुक्त राष्ट्र अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाल आपातकालीन कोष (यूनिसेफ) के साथ साझेदारी में विश्वविद्यालय के सभागार में पर्यावरण के लिए जीवन शैली और G20 भारत 2023 इंडिया के सहयोग से जलवायु, ऊर्जा, पर्यावरण और जल संरक्षण में युवाओं के 'युवा नेतृत्व'पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन संपन्न किया गया ।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत गणमान्य अतिथियों द्वारा देवी सरस्वती की प्रतिमा के समक्ष पारंपरिक दीप प्रज्ज्वलित करकेकियागया। कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ आर श्रीधर ने स्वागत भाषण दिया। उन्होंने जलवायु परिवर्तन, हरित रोजगारऔर करियर पर विश्वविद्यालय और शिक्षाविदों के दृष्टिकोण की व्याख्या की। यूनिसेफ की जल, स्वच्छता और स्वच्छता (वॉश) विशेषज्ञ सुश्री श्वेता पटनायक ने उभरते क्षेत्रों में हरित रोजगारोंसहित जलवायु, ऊर्जा, पर्यावरण और जल उपयोग में  युवाओं की भागीदारी पर एक संक्षिप्त विवरणप्रस्तुत किया । यूनिसेफ की वाश विशेषज्ञ डॉ. प्रतिभा सिंह ने संस्थानों में जलवायु अनुकूल जल, स्वच्छता और स्वच्छता सुविधाओं पर प्रकाश डाला। छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा विकास एजेंसी (क्रेडा) के अधीक्षण अभियंता श्री राजीव ज्ञानी ने नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा और सरकार की प्रमुख पहलों और हरित ऊर्जा के उभरते बाजार पर प्रस्तुति दी।

श्री अर्पित तिवारी, राज्य समन्वयक और नेहरू युवा केंद्र संगठन के अधिकारी ने जलवायु और जल कार्रवाई में युवाओं की भागीदारी और नेतृत्व पर प्रस्तुति दी। जल जीवन मिशन के खरीद और अनुबंध विशेषज्ञ श्री रोहित वाधवा ने हरित ऊर्जा और युवाओं के लिए संभावित करियर पथ पर सरकार की नीतियों पर अपना अनुभव साझा किए। यूनिसेफ के श्री चंदन और गुरु घासीदास विश्वविद्यालय की प्रोफेसर डॉ अर्चना यादव ने कॉलेजों और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में जलवायु कार्रवाई और व्यवहार क्लबों पर युवाओं की आवाज पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम के अंत में प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र,पैनल चर्चा और शपथ ग्रहण समारोह हुआ। कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालय के प्राध्यापक शामिल हुए औरउन्होंनेऔर शपथ ली। डॉ. अर्चना यादव ने बताया कि कार्यशाला गुरु घासीदास विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर डॉ. आलोक कुमार चक्रवाल के नेतृत्व में यूनिसेफ के साथ शुरू की गई सहयोग परियोजना का हिस्सा है।

विशिष्ट अतिथियों को स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट किए गए। प्रोफेसर डॉ शिल्पी भट्टाचार्य, डीन कला और मानविकी और कार्यशाला के आयोजक प्रमुख ने धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव रखा। डॉ. आकृति देवांगन, सहायकप्रोफेसर, सामाजिक कार्य विभाग कार्यशाला की संयोजक थीं। सुश्री गीतिका ब्रम्हभट्ट, सहायक प्राध्यापक, पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विभाग ने सत्र का संचालन किया। इस कार्यशाला में आयोजन समिति के सदस्यों - सुश्री तुहिना चौबे, सुश्री गीतिका ब्रम्हभट्ट, डॉ. ए. राजशेखर, डॉ. ए. विजयानंद, डॉ. श्रद्धा हिरकाने, सुश्री जेसिका मिंज, डॉ. वफ़ी अहमदखान, श्री शेख अब्दुल कादिर, डॉ. विजयभूषण और अन्य सदस्योंके सहयोग से कार्यशाला सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुई।
