JSP Exports First-Time “Air Injection Tube” for DRI Plant in Nigeria

18 Air Tubes, 2 Feed Tubes, and 1 Coal Burner Pipe manufactured in just 2 months  JSP has USP in manufacturing these products, high in demand in the domestic market

Raipur, 01 December 2022  /// – Machinery Division of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) has first time exported Air Injection Tube to a DRI Plant in Nigeria. The consignment includes 18 Air tubes, 2 feed tubes, and 1 Coal burner pipe, manufactured in a record time of just 2 months, a feat in Machinery Division of JSP.

Air Injection tubes are key to the delivery of air inside the DRI Kiln. It also facilitates air injection at high temperatures whereas Feed Tubes are used to feed the charge mix into the DRI Kiln. It is Wear and Heat Resistant. Coal Burner Pipe facilitates the air injection at the DRI Kiln Outlet and it is also heat resistant.

The Machinery Division of Raipur is the prominent supplier of all the equipment mentioned above in the domestic market and now making a foray into International platforms with diversified products for steel making.

रायपुर, 01 दिसंबर 2022 ///  जिन्दल स्टील एंड पावर (जेएसपी) के मशीनरी डिवीजन ने नाइजरिया की एक नामी-गिरामी कंपनी के डीआरआई प्लांट को पहली बार एयर इंजेक्शन ट्यूब का निर्यात कर मेक इन इंडिया मिशन में एक नया अध्याय जोड़ा है। जिन उपकरणों का निर्यात किया गया है, उनमें 18 एयर ट्यूब, 2 फीड ट्यूब और 1 कोल बर्नर पाइप शामिल हैं। मात्र दो महीने में इनका निर्माण कर मशीनरी डिवीजन ने एक नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है। गौरतलब है कि लोहा-इस्पात उत्पादन की दृष्टि से देश में इन उत्पादों की भारी मांग है।

मशीनरी डिवीजन के बिजनेस यूनिट हेड श्री नीलेश टी. शाह ने इस उपलब्धि पर कहा कि “एयर इंजेक्शन एवं रेडियेंट ट्यूब के उत्पादन में जेएसपी की विशेषज्ञता का लोहा माना जाता है। हमारे इन उपकरणों की घरेलू बाजार में काफी मांग है। हमने पहली बार नाइजीरिया की एक अग्रणी लोहा-इस्पात कंपनी के डीआरआई प्लांट के लिए इन उपकरणों का निर्यात किया है। हमें खुशी है कि ट्यूब और उपकरणों का यह निर्यात “विश्व के लिए मेक इन इंडिया” की दिशा में मील का पत्थर साबित हुआ है। यह सफलताहमें टीम जेएसपी के समर्पित प्रयास और हमारे चेयरमैन श्री नवीन जिन्दल जी के दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व एवं मार्गदर्शन में मिली है।”

एयर इंजेक्शन ट्यूब डीआरआई किल्न के अंदर उच्च तापमान पर हवा प्रवेश कराने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है जबकि डीआरआई किल्न में ही चार्ज मिश्रण डालने के लिए फीड ट्यूब का उपयोग किया जाता है। यह घर्षण और तापरोधी है। कोयला बर्नर पाइप डीआरआई किल्न आउटलेट में हवा प्रवेश कराने के काम आती है, जो तापरोधी भी है।

रायपुर का मशीनरी डिवीजन घरेलू बाजार में ऊपर उल्लिखित सभी उपकरणों का प्रमुख आपूर्तिकर्ता है और अब स्टील बनाने के लिए विविध उत्पादों को विश्व बाजार में प्रस्तुत करने के लिए अपेक्षाकृत अधिक तत्पर है।
