Kalinga University organized a webinar on Growth of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME)

Naya Raipur, 03 Sep 2022 /// Department of Economics under the faculty of Arts and Humanities, Kalinga University organized a webinar on Growth of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) 2nd September 2022. Dr. Manish Sharma, Professor of Economics, Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh was the keynote speaker.  Large number of students of Kalinga University joined the event through online mode.

The webinar was organized to make the students aware about importance of MSME and its role in Indian Economy. Dr. Manish Sharma informed the students about different problems, challenges faced by the MSMEs. The session was supervised by the Dean of Arts & Humanities, Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya. Ms. Madhumita Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography also Co-convener of the webinar gave welcome speech.

Through Power Point Presentation Dr. Manish Sharma delivered his lecture. He gave informative and thought-provoking insights on the growth of MSME in India. He further informed that MSMEs are the backbone of the Indian economy. He stressed that MSME provides employment to over 12 crore Indians across the country providing the second-largest source of jobs after agriculture.

He further informed that MSMEs have propelled India to new heights due to their low investment requirements, flexibility in operations and ability to develop suitable native technology. He has also enlightened the students about benefits of MSME in India. Through MSME one can get different kind of bank loans, subsidy on patent registration, overdraft interest rate exemption, protection against payments, fewer electricity bills, etc. He further explained about the various types of loan facilities are available in Banks of MSME. The session concluded with the question answer session in which the students participated with enthusiasm.

Dr. Namrata Shrivastava, Assistant Professor of Economics and the Convener of the webinar proposed the vote of thanks. The webinar received very positive feedbacks and the students were also expressed their keen interest and wishes of attending similar informative webinars in the future.

कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालय में भारत में सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमों (एमएसएमई) के विकास पर एक वेबिनार का आयोजन

नया रायपुर, 03 सितम्बर 2022  //// कला और मानविकी संकाय के तहत अर्थशास्त्र विभाग, कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालय ने 2 सितंबर 2022 को भारत में सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमों (एमएसएमई) की वृद्धि पर एक वेबिनार का आयोजन किया। डॉ मनीष शर्मा, अर्थशास्त्र के प्रोफेसर, संस्थान (आईईएचई), भोपाल, मध्य प्रदेश मुख्य वक्ता थे। ऑनलाइन मोड के माध्यम से बड़ी संख्या में कलिंगा विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए।

छात्रों को एमएसएमई के महत्व और भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में इसकी भूमिका के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करने के लिए वेबिनार का आयोजन किया गया था। उन्होंने छात्रों को एमएसएमई के सामने आने वाली विभिन्न समस्याओं, चुनौतियों के बारे में बताया। सत्र का मार्गदर्शन डीन ऑफ आर्ट्स एंड ह्यूमैनिटीज, डॉ शिल्पी भट्टाचार्य द्वारा किया गया। सुश्री मधुमिता घोष, सहायक प्रोफेसर, भूगोल विभाग, वेबिनार की सह-संयोजक ने भी स्वागत भाषण दिया।

पावर प्वाइंट प्रेजेंटेशन के माध्यम से डॉ मनीष शर्मा ने अपना व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने भारत में एमएसएमई के विकास पर उपयोगी और विचारोत्तेजक जानकारी दी। उन्होंने आगे बताया कि एमएसएमई भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ हैं। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि एमएसएमई देश भर में 12 करोड़ से अधिक भारतीयों को रोजगार प्रदान करता है जो कृषि के बाद नौकरियों का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा स्रोत है।

उन्होंने आगे बताया कि एमएसएमई ने अपनी कम निवेश आवश्यकताओं, संचालन में लचीलेपन और उपयुक्त देशी तकनीक विकसित करने की क्षमता के कारण भारत को नई ऊंचाइयों पर पहुंचाया है। उन्होंने छात्रों को भारत में एमएसएमई के लाभों के बारे में भी बताया। एमएसएमई के माध्यम से विभिन्न प्रकार के बैंक ऋण, पेटेंट पंजीकरण पर सब्सिडी, ओवरड्राफ्ट ब्याज दर में छूट, भुगतान के खिलाफ सुरक्षा, सब्सिडी युक्त बिजली बिल आदि प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने आगे बताया कि एमएसएमई के बैंकों में विभिन्न प्रकार की ऋण सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं। प्रश्न उत्तर सत्र के साथ सत्र का समापन हुआ जिसमें छात्रों ने उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया।

अर्थशास्त्र के सहायक प्रोफेसर और वेबिनार के संयोजक डॉ नम्रता श्रीवास्तव ने धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव दिया। वेबिनार को बहुत सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रियाएं मिलीं और छात्रों ने भी भविष्य में इसी तरह के उपयोगी वेबिनार में भाग लेने के लिए अपनी गहरी रुचि और इच्छा व्यक्त की।
