NMDC Celebrates 76th Independence Day

Hyderabad, 15th August, 2022 :////  NMDC, the country's largest Iron ore producing Navratna mining company, celebrated the 75 illustrious years of Indian Independence by hoisting the national flag on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day at the company's headquarters in Hyderabad and all its project sites with great fervour. Shri Sumit Deb, CMD, NMDC along with Shri A Shankariah, senior most employee at Head Office unfurled the tricolour at the NMDC Corporate Office at Hyderabad in the presence of functional directors of NMDC,

Shri Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance);Shri Somnath Nandi, Director (Technical); Shri Dilip Kumar Mohanty, Director (Production); Shri B. Vishwanath, IRSS, Chief Vigilance Officer and employees.

On this occasion Shri Sumit Deb, CMD, NMDC said, “The role of PSUs in the economic growth of the nation has been monumental and NMDC has consistently dedicated itself to meet the infrastructure needs of the country. As we celebrate AzadiKaAmritMahotsav, I urge everyone to wholeheartedly participate in HarGharTirangaby hoisting the flags at their homes as a mark of respect, gratitude and tribute to our motherland. As flag bearers of the country’s future, it is our duty to preserve the ethos of this great nation.”

NMDC had organised a Mega Chess Tournament on its 64th Foundation Day and a Painting Competition for school students during AKAM Iconic Week. The winners of the Chess & Painting competition and indoor games for employees and associates were felicitated today by the CMD, Functional Directors, CVO, Smt. Bratati Deb, President, Mineral Eves Club; Smt. Chetali Mukherjee and Smt. Lipi Mohanty.

एनएमडीसी ने मनाया 76वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस

हैदराबाद, 15 अगस्त, 2022 :///  देश की सबसे बड़ी लौह अयस्क उत्पादक नवरत्न खनन कंपनी एनएमडीसी ने हैदराबाद में कंपनी के मुख्यालय और इसके सभी परियोजना स्थलों पर 76 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर ध्वजारोहण कर भारतीय स्वतंत्रता के 75 शानदार वर्षों को बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया। एनएमडीसी के सीएमडी श्री सुमित देब ने प्रधान कार्यालय के वरिष्ठतम कर्मचारी श्री ए शंकरैया के साथ एनएमडीसी के कार्यात्मक निदेशकों, श्री अमिताभ  मुखर्जी, निदेशक (वित्त) श्री सोमनाथ नंदी, निदेशक (तकनीकी); श्री दिलीप कुमार मोहंती, निदेशक (उत्पादन); श्री बी विश्वनाथ, आईआरएसएस, मुख्य सतर्कता अधिकारी और कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति में हैदराबाद में एनएमडीसी कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में तिरंगा फहराया; ।

इस अवसर पर एनएमडीसी के सीएमडी श्री सुमित देब ने कहा, "राष्ट्र के आर्थिक विकास में पीएसयू की भूमिका बहुत महत्वपूर्ण रही है और एनएमडीसी ने देश की बुनियादी ढांचे की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए खुद को लगातार समर्पित किया है। आज जब हम आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मना रहे हैं, मैं सभी से आग्रह करता हूं कि अपनी  मातृभूमि के प्रति सम्मान, कृतज्ञता और श्रद्धा के प्रतीक के रूप में अपने घरों पर झंडे फहराकर हर घर तिरंगा में हृदयपूर्वक भाग लें। देश के भविष्य के ध्वजवाहक के रूप में, यह हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हम इस महान राष्ट्र की संस्कृति को संरक्षित रखें।

एनएमडीसी ने अपने 64वें स्थापना दिवस पर मेगा शतरंज  टूर्नामेंट और आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव आइकॉनिक वीक के दौरान स्कूली छात्रों के लिए पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया था। शतरंज और चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता और कर्मचारियों और सहयोगियों के लिए इनडोर खेलों के विजेताओं को आज अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबन्ध निदेशक;  कार्यात्मक निदेशकगण;  मुख्य सतर्कता अधिकारी;  श्रीमती ब्रताती देब, अध्यक्ष, मिनरल ईव्स क्लब;  श्रीमती चेताली मुखर्जी और श्रीमती लिपि मोहंती ने पुरस्कार प्रदान किए।
