rebar mill at the 6 Million Tonnes Per annum. Integrated Steel Plant of Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) at Angul, Odisha. . The rebar mill of 1.4 MTPA capacity is capable of producing 50 mm wide TMT rebar. Shri Singh also visited the world's first coal gasification based DRI plant of 2 MTPA capacity located at JSP’s Angul plant itself. Realizing the concept of clean coal, this coal gasification plant has achieved great success in environmental protection and is

preventing 2000 tonnes per day of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere.According to a press release issued here, JSP, a company headed by Mr. Naveen Jindal, is committed to building a self-reliant India. The company has set up

 this rebar mill as part of its commitment to nation building. In the coming times, the company has many plans for business expansion. कोल गैसीफिकेशन प्लांट प्रतिदिन 2000 टन कार्बन डाई-ऑक्साइड वातावरण में जाने से रोक रहा

नई दिल्ली, 28 अप्रैल 2022 –/////  केंद्रीय स्टील मंत्री श्री रामचंद्र प्रसाद सिंह ने आज ओडिशा के अंगुल स्थित जिन्दल स्टील एंड पावर (जेएसपी) के 6 एमटीपीए (मिलियन टन प्रतिवर्ष) क्षमता वाले एकीकृत स्टील प्लांट में अत्याधुनिक और विशालतम रिबार मिल राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया। 1.4 एमटीपीए क्षमता का यह रिबार मिल 50 मिलीमीटर चौड़ा टीएमटी रिबार उत्पादन करने में सक्षम है। श्री सिंह ने अंगुल में ही स्थित विश्व के पहले कोल गैसीफिकेशन आधारित 2 एमटीपीए क्षमता वाले डीआरआई प्लांट का भी मुआयना किया। क्लीन कोल की अवधारणा को साकार करने वाले कोल गैसीफिकेशन प्लांट ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण में बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है और प्रतिदिन 2000 टन कार्बन डाई-ऑक्साइड को वातावरण में जाने से रोक रहा है।

यहां जारी एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार श्री नवीन जिन्दल के नेतृत्व वाली कंपनी जेएसपी आत्मनिर्भर भारत के निर्माण के लिए कटिबद्ध है। कंपनी ने राष्ट्र निर्माण के अपने संकल्पों के तहत यह रिबार मिल लगाया है। आने वाले समय में कंपनी ने कारोबार विस्तार की अनेक योजनाएं बनाई हैं। जेएसपी का लक्ष्य अंगुल प्लांट का उत्पादन 2025 तक 15 एमटीपीए करना है।

जेएसपी के चेयरमैन श्री नवीन जिन्दल ने कहा कि यह हमारा सौभाग्य है कि स्टील मंत्री श्री आरसीपी सिंह के करकमलों से देश के विशालतम रिबार मिल का लोकार्पण आज हुआ है। हमने राष्ट्र के सतत विकास लक्ष्यों को ध्यान में रखते हुए यहां कोल गैसीफिकेशन आधारित डीआरआई प्लांट लगाया है। हम सरकार के उस संकल्प के साथ हैं, जिसमें 2070 तक भारत को कार्बन न्यूट्रल देश बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।

इस अवसर पर जेएसपी के प्रबंध निदेशक श्री वी.आर. शर्मा ने कहा कि नए रिबार मिल में हम 50 मिलीमीटर चौड़ा टीएमटी रिबार का उत्पादन कर सकेंगे, जो अपने-आप में अनूठा है। हमारी रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट टीम ने यह सफल प्रयोग किया है, जो आने वाले समय में निर्माण क्षेत्र में मील का पत्थर साबित होगा। जेएसपी राष्ट्र के विकास में योगदान के लिए सदैव समर्पित है और प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के आत्मनिर्भर भारत के सपनों को साकार करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
