NMDC wins two awards at the 80th SKOCH Summit 2022

Hyderabad, 11th April, 2022:///  NMDC, India’s largest producer of iron ore awarded one gold and one silver award in the 80th SKOCH Summit and SKOCH Awards on 9th April 2022 conducted by SKOCH, New Delhi. The theme for the SKOCH Summit was ‘State of BFSI & PSUs’.

NMDC won the Gold Award in the category social responsibility for the project ‘Promotion of Technical Education & Skill Development in Dantewada District through NMDC ITI Bhansi’ and the Silver Award in the category digital inclusion for the ‘Project Kalpataru’ for ERP implementation. The awards were received by Shri Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance) via video conferencing on behalf of Chairman and Managing Director,Shri Sumit Deb.

The SKOCH Awards were given to the winners based on the application submitted on their website, presentation to jury followed by three rounds of popular online voting and second round of jury evaluation. In addition to above, NMDC also received the 3 SKOCH –Order of Merit Awards for its exemplary efforts in ensuring seamless digitalization in Project Kalpataru, for its expansive CSR efforts in promoting technical education and skill development in the remote districts of Dantewada and “Project Safety First”in the category Response to COVID.

Congratulating the team on this achievement, Shri Sumit Deb, CMD, NMDC said, “I would like to thank SKOCH for recognizing NMDC’s efforts in serving the nation - be it in helping transform the lives of the youth in Dantewada through skill development and training or in integrating digitalization in our production processes for efficient operations. एनएनडीसी ने 80 वें स्कॉच सम्मेलन 2022 में दो पुरस्कार जीते

हैदराबाद 11 अप्रैल 2022/// . भारत के सबसे बड़े लौह अयस्क उत्पादक एनएमडीसी को स्कॉच, नई दिल्ली द्वारा 9 अप्रैल 2022  को आयोजित 80 वें स्कॉच सम्मेलन तथा स्कॉच अवार्ड में एक स्वर्ण तथा एक रजत पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुए। स्कॉच सम्मेलन की थीम “बीएफएसआई एवं पीएसयू की स्थिति ”थी।

एनएमडीसी ने सामाजिक दायित्व वर्ग में “एनएमडीसी आईटीआई भांसी के माध्यम से दंतेवाड़ा जिले में तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं कौशल विकास के संवर्धन”पर परियोजना के लिए स्वर्ण पुरस्कार तथा डिजिटल समावेशन वर्ग में ईआरपी कार्यान्वयन हेतु “प्रोजेक्ट कल्पतरू”के लिए रजत पुरस्कार जीते। ये अवार्ड एनएमडीसी के अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक श्री सुमित देब की ओर से श्री अमिताभ मुखर्जी, निदेशक (वित्त) ने विडियो कांफ्रेसिंग के माध्यम से प्राप्त किए।

अपनी-अपनी वेबसाइट पर प्रस्तुत आवेदन पत्र, ज्यूरी के समक्ष प्रस्तुतीकरण तथा तीन राउंड की लोकप्रिय  ऑन लाइन वोटिंग एवंज्यूरी मूल्यांकन के दूसरे राउंड के पश्चात स्कॉच अवार्ड विजेताओं को प्रदान किए गए। उपर्युक्त के अतिरिक्त एनएमडीसी को कल्पतरू परियोजना के सुगमतापूर्वक डिजिटाइजेशन के उल्लेखनीय प्रयासों,दंतेवाड़ा जैसे सुदूरवर्ती जिले में सीएसआर के माध्यम से तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं कौशल विकास के विस्तार एवं कोविड का मुकाबला करने के वर्ग में“परियोजना सुरक्षा प्रथम”के लिए तीन स्कॉच - आर्डर आफ मेरिट अवार्ड भी प्राप्त हुए।

इस उपलब्धि पर बधाई देते हुए एनएमडीसी के अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक श्री सुमित देब ने कहा कि,“ राष्ट्र की सेवा के लिए एनएमडीसी के प्रयासों – चाहे वो कौशल विकास एवं प्रशिक्षण के माध्यम से दंतेवाडा में युवाओं के जीवन में परिवर्तन लाना हो अथवा प्रभावशाली प्रचालनों के लिए उत्पादन प्रक्रियाओं के डिजिटलीकरण का समेकन करना हो, दोनों में एनएमडीसी के प्रयासों को मान्यता देने के लिए मैं स्कॉच को धन्यवाद देता हूं। कच्चे माल की मांग को पूरा करने के कठिन प्रयासों के साथ सामाजिक परिवर्तन पर जागरूकतापूर्वक बल देन्ने के एनएमडीसी के एकीकृत कार्य मुझे एनएमडीसी टीम का सदस्य होने पर गौरव की अनुभूति कराते हैं।“
