FREE MEDICAL CAMP AT KALINGA UNIVERSITY

 Raipur ///// A free medical camp for two days was organized at Kalinga University Campus, New Raipur on 15-16 December 2021. The venue for the camp was Health Centre of the University. The camp was organized under the guidance and support of Dr. Shailendra Agrawal, MBBS, MD Community Medicine, functioning as the State Nodal Officer in the Directorate Health Services Chhattisgarh. The event was inaugurated by Dr. R Shridhar- Vice Chancellor of Kalinga University. The event was blessed by the gracious presence of Dr. Byju John- Director Kalinga University, Dr. Asha Ambhaikar- Dean Student Welfare, Mr. Rahul Mishra- Dean Academic Affairs.

The program was well conducted and initiated by Dr. A Vijayanand- Chief Procter and Assistant Professor, Department of Arts and Humanities. Dr. Shailendra examined the health status of students and recommended medicines accordingly. Apart from this other routine checkups were also performed like blood pressure, sugar level, height, weight and minor health issues were also consulted. In all there were more than 150 beneficiary participants including staff and students both. The students were greatly satisfied after their health examination. The event was ably supported by Mr. Omprakash Dewangan, Assistant Professor CSE and Ms. Shraddha Sahu Staff Nurse Kalinga Universi
