वेदांता स्किल स्कूल से युवा बने स्वावलंबी

 बालकोनगर, 11 जनवरी, 2022 ////अपने परिवार, समाज और देश के लिए कुछ कर दिखाने की इच्छा रखने वाला हर युवा चाहता है कि वह जितनी जल्दी हो खुद के पैरों पर खड़ा हो जाए। यूं तो सरकार ने देश भर में अनेक तकनीकी और व्यावसायिक शिक्षा के पाठ्यक्रम संचालित किए हैं परंतु देश की युवा आबादी के अनुपात में उनकी संख्या कम ही है। अनेक पाठ्यक्रम ऐसे भी हैं जहां प्रशिक्षण की सुविधाएं तो हैं परंतु प्रशिक्षण के बाद युवाओं को रोजगार पाने के लिए मशक्कत करनी पड़ती है। ऐसे में देश भर में ऐसे व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रम समय की मांग है जो प्रशिक्षण तो दे साथ ही रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने में युवाओं की मदद करे।

 बालको संचालित प्रमुख सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रमों में से एक है ‘वेदांता स्किल स्कूल’। गरीबी रेखा से नीचे के युवाओं को स्वावलंबी बनाने की दिशा में बालको की ओर से प्रारंभ यह केंद्र एक ऐसी संस्था के रूप में फल-फूल रहा है जो युवा को आत्मनिर्भर बन जाने का आत्मविश्वास और संबल देता है। इस केंद्र ने युवाओं को उनके पैरों पर खड़े होने के काबिल बना दिया। बालको के स्किल स्कूल ने ऐसा मंच दिया है जिससे उनके जीवन को नई दिशा मिल गई है।

 बालको के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी एवं निदेशक श्री अभिजीत पति कहते हैैं कि देश के उत्तरोत्तर विकास में प्रशिक्षित युवाओं की भागीदारी महत्वपूर्ण है। वेदांता स्किल स्कूल के जरिए युवाओं को विभिन्न कौशलों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है वहीं परियोजना कनेक्ट के जरिए जरूरतमंद विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क कोचिंग दी जा रही है। परियोजना कनेक्ट में बालको के युवा कर्मचारी भी भागीदारी कर रहे हैं ताकि उनके माध्यम से बच्चों को शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट मार्गदर्शन मिल सके। श्री पति ने कहा कि युवाओं के प्रतिभा प्रोत्साहन के लिए बालको प्रतिबद्ध है।

 वेदांता स्किल स्कूल से प्रशिक्षित पुनेश दरवेश और इंदु पकवासा बताती हैं कि स्किल स्कूल ने उनके जीवन को नई दिशा दी है। प्रशिक्षण के बाद उन्हें प्रतिष्ठित कंपनी में प्लेसमेंट मिल गया। आर्थिक रूप से परिवारजनों की मदद कर उन्हें गौरव की अनुभूति होती हैं।

 वेदांता स्किल्स स्कूल वर्ष 2010 से कोरबा में संचालित है। वर्तमान में औद्योगिक सिलाई, वेल्डिंग, हॉस्पिटैलिटी, एसएमओ, सोलर पीव्ही टेक्निशियन, और इलेक्ट्रिशियन की प्रशिक्षण शाखाएं संचालित हैं। प्रशिक्षण राष्ट्रीय स्किल डेव्हलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन (एनएसडीसी) के दिशानिर्देशों के अनुरूप दिया जाता है। केंद्र में युवाओं को अपने ट्रेड के साथ ही योग-व्यायाम, कंप्यूटर, व्यक्तित्व विकास आदि का बेहतरीन प्रशिक्षण मिलता है। अब तक कोरबा स्थित केंद्र से लगभग 9000 युवाओं को प्रशिक्षण मिल चुका है। योजना के अनुरूप एक आवासीय व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण केंद्र का निर्माण बालकोनगर में किया गया है। योजना के अंतर्गत छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के गरीबी रेखा से नीचे रहने वाले युवाओं को लक्ष्य बनाया गया है। हालांकि इसके अंतर्गत गरीबी रेखा से ऊपर के युवाओं को भी अवसर मिल रहा है। अकुशल अथवा अर्द्धकुशल युवाओं को प्रशिक्षण और रोजगार मिलने से उनके परिवारों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार हुआ है। ऐसे युवा देश और छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य की प्रगति में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं।

BALCO empowering youth through skill development

Balconagar, January 11, 2022 //// : Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), India’s iconic Aluminium producer, is contributing resolutely towards development of nation by empowering the youth of the region through its skill development centre, ‘Vedanta Skill School’. The Vedanta Skill School is one-of-its-kind institute of skills that provide technical education to the local youth to prepare them for a vocation that allows them to become financially self reliant and foster development of society at large. The institute imparts free residential training in six trades of food & beverages, welding, sewing machine operator, solar PV technician, electrician and fitter along with further helping the trainees with placements in companies of repute. The 45 to 65 days training programme is designed as per the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) guidelines and over 9000 students have been trained till now.

I had joined the training programme in food & beverages programme which has helped me to avail jobs in different hospitality firms. Today I am proud to support my family financially and to share responsibilities with my father.”InduPakwasa, another trainee, says, “I feel fortunate to be a student of skill school as it has played a significant role in bringing a positive change in my life by aiding my journey towards self-dependence.”
