कोरबा कलेक्टर श्रीमती रानू साहू ने किया बालको संचालित चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई का उद्घाटन

 बालकोनगर, 8 दिसंबर। ////  स्वास्थ्य इकाई की शुरूआत की है। सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रम की इस परियोजना से कोरबा के 45 ग्रामीण एवं शहरी क्षेत्रों के नागरिक लाभान्वित होंगे। पूर्व निर्धारित तीन स्थानों पर प्रतिदिन स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किए जाएंगे जहां जरूरतमंदों का निःशुल्क उपचार किया जाएगा। कोरबा कलेक्टर श्रीमती रानू साहू ने बालको के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी एवं निदेशक श्री अभिजीत पति एवं अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।

 ‘उपचार आपके दरवाजे’ थीम पर संचालित चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई में एमबीबीएस डॉक्टर के साथ अन्य प्रशिक्षित चिकित्साकर्मी सेवाएं देंगे। जरूरतमंदों को निःशुल्क परामर्श और चिकित्सा सुविधाएं मिलेंगी। मुधमेह, उच्च रक्तचाप सहित अन्य सामान्य बीमारियों की जांच की सुविधा इकाई में मौजूद होगी। सामान्य बीमारियों के लिए दवाइयां निःशुल्क दी जाएंगी। ऐसे वरिष्ठ नागरिक जो बिस्तर से उठ पाने में असमर्थ हैं, उन्हें स्वास्थ्य इकाई में तैनात चिकित्सा दल घर पर जाकर चिकित्सा मुहैया कराएगा। शिविरों के माध्यम से नागरिकों को पोषाहार एवं स्वच्छता के महत्व से परिचित कराया जाएगा।

 बालकोनगर के समीप स्थित 22 शहरी क्षेत्रों के लगभग 46,000 नागरिकों को चलित शिविरों के माध्यम से स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध थीं। बालको और हेल्पएज इंडिया की पहल से 16 ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में लगभग 15000 नागरिकों को स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी। इस तरह चलित स्वास्थ्य शिविरों के जरिए लाभान्वित होेने वाले नागरिकों की संख्या लगभग 60,000 हो जाएगी।

 कलेक्टर श्रीमती साहू ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं पहुंचाने की दिशा में बालको की पहल को प्रशंसनीय बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई से दूरस्थ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के नागरिकों को मदद मिलेगी। नागरिकों तक स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं पहुंचाना जिला प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई के जरिए एकत्रित आंकड़ों की मदद से अधिक प्रभावी तरीके से लक्षित नागरिकांे तक स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं पहुंचेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी के एकजुट प्रयासों से समुदाय में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन संभव है।

 श्री पति ने कहा कि सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत जरूरतमंदों के लिए बेहतरीन स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बालको प्रबंधन कटिबद्ध है। चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई से ग्रामीणों विशेषकर वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और बच्चों को लाभ मिलेगा। श्री पति ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता की दिशा में चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई अहम साबित होगी। उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि जिला प्रशासन के मार्गदर्शन में बालको और हेल्पएज इंडिया की पहल से कोरबा जिला स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के क्षेत्र में नए आयाम स्थापित करेगा।

 कोरबा के मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ. बीबी बोर्डे और हेल्पएज इंडिया के छत्तीसगढ़ प्रमुख श्री शुभांकर बिस्वास ने बेहतरीन स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं मुहैया कराने की दिशा में बालको के कार्यों की दिल खोलकर प्रशंसा की।

BALCO flags off Mobile Health Unit in association with Help Age India

Balconagar, Korba, December 08 /,12 /2021 :///  Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminium producer,flagged off Mobile Health Unit today in association with Help Age India under an MoU signed earlier this year. The Mobile Health Unit will serve and aid citizens from 45 communities of Balconagar and nearby rural areas and will go to three predecided locations daily.

The MHU was flagged by the chief guest, Mrs. Ranu Sahu, District Magistrate & Collector, Korba in presence of Mr. Abhijit Pati, CEO & Director, BALCO and other senior management members of BALCO.

The MHU, which is a van equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, will be managed by doctors and trained medical staff who shall provide free medical advice and awareness sessions to the local communities. The MHU has been fitted with equipment for diagnosis of common diseases like diabetes, hypertension, etc. For the elderly and those confined within their homes, the MHU shall also aid in medical treatment at home. Medicines will be available for common ailments free of cost. Besides providing doorstep healthcare services, the MHU shall also conduct regular health camps to spread awareness about the importance of nutrition and cleanliness, and various health schemes and programs run by the government.

The doorstep medical aid was earlier available to a population of approximately46,000 residing in 22 urban localities near Balconagar.This initiative of BALCO and Help Age India will further increase the reach of doorstep medical aid to 16 villages targeting around 3,310 families with a population of approximately15,000, thus escalating the total number of beneficiaries to around 60,000 in the vicinity.

Mrs. Ranu Sahu (IAS), District Magistrate & Collector of Korba,addressed the event and said, “BALCO is making remarkable effortstowards supporting the health infrastructure of the region. The launch of mobile health van is a first step towards making health services accessible to the far flung remote villages of the region. I believe that such similar attempts will prove to be a boon to community members. Community health is a very important focus for all of us and with our united efforts we will bring about a positive change.”
