NMDC concludes Vigilance Awareness Week 2021

Hyderabad, 01 November 2021://///  NMDC observed the Vigilance Awareness Week - 2021 (VAW-2021) which concluded today with valedictory function at its Head Office and all projects. The Navratna PSU observed the Vigilance Awareness Week from 26.10.2021 to 01.11.2021 on the theme “Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity”, as per the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission.

Chief Guest Shri Sumit Deb, CMD, NMDC; Shri Somnath Nandi, Director (Technical); Shri Dilip Kumar Mohanty, Director (Production); Senior Officers from Head Office and R&D were present at the event. During the awareness week, NMDC organised various competitions namely Quiz, Slogan Writing, Elocution and Essay Writing for its employees. The company also conducted a session on ‘Corporate Governance - Leveraging Technology & Whistle Blower Mechanism’ with Dr Praveen Kumari Singh, Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission delivering the Keynote Address. Various awareness & sensitization programmes were also arranged during the week.

NMDC conducted some events maintaining COVID protocol for students at few schools / colleges as a part of outreach activity to masses and creating awareness on Vigilant India for moving towards self-reliance with Integrity.

The winners of the competitions were given the prizes by the Chief Guest Shri Sumit Deb, CMD and Shri Somnath Nandi, Director (Technical); Shri Dilip Kumar Mohanty, Director (Production) during the Valedictory Function.Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sumit Deb said that organisations must constantly aim to achieve greater transparency in their operations. He also said, “NMDC’s digital transformation is designed to make our system more transparent and accountable. In this transformation, the insights of the Vigilance department will play a crucial role and they have been very supportive in suggesting to all Departments to adopt new SoPs for business growth and for becoming citizen friendly.”

एनएमडीसी में सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताहह 2021 सम्पयन्नर हुआ

 एनएमडीसी ने सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताथह 2021 (वीएडब्यूगों  2021) मनाया जिसका समापन समारोह आज प्रधान कार्यालय तथा सभी उत्पानदन परियोजनाओं में सम्पहन्न  हुआ।सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के नवरत्नध उपक्रम ने केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग के दिशानिर्देशों के अनुरूप 26-10-2021 से 01-11-2021 तक सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताकह आयोजित किया जिसकी थीम “स्वपतंत्र भारत@75 : सत्यानिष्ठा् से आत्मननिर्भरता”रही।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्य् अतिथि श्री सुमित देब, अध्याक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक, एनएमडीसी; श्री सोमनाथ नंदी, निदेशक (तकनीकी); श्री दिलीप कुमार, मोहंती निदेशक (उत्पा दन) एवं प्रधान कार्यालय और अनुसंधान और विकास केंद्र के वरिष्ठत अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

सप्ता ह भर चलने वाले इस समारोह के दौरान एनएमडीसी ने अपने कर्मचारियों के लिए प्रश्नो्त्तारी, नारा लेखन, वाक् तथा निबंध लेखन प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित कीं। कंपनी ने “कार्पोरेट अभिशासन – प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग तथा व्हीासिल ब्लोनअर प्रणाली” पर एक सत्र का भी आयोजन  किया जिसमें प्रमुख वक्ताप डॉ.प्रवीण कुमारीसिंह, अपर सचिव, केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोगने संबोधित किया। सप्ता्ह के दौरान जागरूकता एवं संवेदीकरण के लिए विभिन्नर कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किए गए।

एनएमडीसी नेसत्युनिष्ठान के साथ आत्ममनिर्भरता की ओर बढ़ने के लिए सतर्क भारत के संबंध में जागरूकता का सृजन करने और जनता तक पहुंच बनाने के अपने क्रियाकलापों के एक भाग के रूप में कुछ विद्यालयों/कॉलेजों के विद्यार्थियों के लिए कोविड दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करते हुए कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया।

प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को मुख्य् अतिथि श्री सुमित देब, अध्यकक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक; श्री सोमनाथ नंदी, निदेशक (तकनीकी)एवं श्री दिलीप कुमार मोहंती, निदेशक (उत्पाहदन) ने समापन समारोह के दौरान पुरस्कागर वितरित किए।इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए श्री सुमित देब ने कहा कि संगठनों को अपने कार्यों में और अधिक पारदर्शिता का निरंतर प्रयास करना चाहिए। उन्हों ने कहा कि “एनएमडीसी में हो रहे डिजिटल परिवर्तन प्रणाली को और अधिक पारदरर्शी एवं जवा‍बदेह बनाने के लिए किए जा रहे हैं। इन परिवर्तनों में सतर्कता विभागकी अंतर्दृष्टि एक महत्वदपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगी। वे व्यावसाय में प्रगति तथा नागरिक हितैषी बनने के लिए विभागों को नई प्रणालियों का सुझाव देने में बहुत सहायक रहे हैं।”
