बालको और हेल्पएज इंडिया ने चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई के संचालन के लिए किया एमओयू

बालकोनगर, 8 अक्टूबर। ////  वेदांता समूह की कंपनी भारत एल्यूमिनियम कंपनी लिमिटेड (बालको) प्रबंधन ने  सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई के प्रचालन के लिए हेल्प-एज इंडिया के साथ समझौता (एमओयू) किया है। इससे बालकोनगर और आसपास स्थित ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के नागरिक लाभान्वित होंगे। चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई के माध्यम से जरूरतमंदों के लिए 45 विभिन्न स्थानों पर स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

 बालको और हेल्प-एज इंडिया के बीच 6 अक्टूबर, 2021 को एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एम.ओ.यू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। बालको के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी एवं निदेशक श्री अभिजीत पति और हेल्प-एज इंडिया के क्षेत्रीय प्रमुख श्री प्रकाश बोरगांवकर ने समझौता प्रपत्रों का आदान-प्रदान किया। बालको के उप मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी श्री पंकज शर्मा ने फीता काटकर चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई का उद्घाटन किया।

 चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई में एमबीबीएस डॉक्टर के साथ ही अन्य प्रशिक्षित चिकित्साकर्मी सेवाएं देंगे। जरूरतमंदों को निःशुल्क परामर्श और चिकित्सा सुविधाएं मिलेंगी। मुधमेह, उच्च रक्तचाप सहित अन्य सामान्य बीमारियों की जांच की सुविधा इकाई में मौजूद होगी। सामान्य बीमारियों के लिए दवाइयां निःशुल्क दी जाएंगी। ऐसे वरिष्ठ नागरिक जो बिस्तर से उठ पाने में असमर्थ हैं, उन्हें स्वास्थ्य इकाई में तैनात चिकित्सा दल घर पर जाकर चिकित्सा मुहैया कराएगा। शिविरों के माध्यम से नागरिकों को पोषाहार एवं स्वच्छता के महत्व से परिचित कराया जाएगा।

 श्री अभिजीत पति ने चलित स्वास्थ्य सेवा के एमओयू के अवसर पर कहा कि बालको प्रबंधन अपने सामुदायिक विकास कार्यक्रमों के जरिए जरूरतमंदों की हरसंभव मदद के लिए कटिबद्ध है। श्री पति ने बताया कि वेदांता समूह छत्तीसगढ़ की राजधानी रायपुर मंे कैंसर की चिकित्सा के लिए अत्याधुनिक बालको मेडिकल सेंटर का संचालन कर रहा है जिससे बड़ी संख्या में जरूरतमंद लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं। सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए बालको संचालित परियोजना का लाभ बड़ी संख्या में जरूरतमंदों को मिल रहा है। वैश्विक महामारी कोविड-19 से बचाव और नियंत्रण की दिशा में बालको की महत्वपूर्ण भागीदारी रही। श्री पति ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता की दिशा में चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई अहम साबित होगी।

 श्री प्रकाश बोरगांवकर ने चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई के प्रचालन के लिए बालको और हेल्प-एज इंडिया के बीच हुए एमओयू पर प्रसन्नता जताई। उन्होंने बताया कि स्वयंसेवी संगठन हेल्प-एज इंडिया देश के 23 राज्यों में 16 लाख जरूरतमंदों तक स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं पहुंचाने मंे योगदान दे रहा है। बालको की मदद से प्रारंभ चलित स्वास्थ्य इकाई दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों तक अपनी सुविधाएं पहुंचा पाने में सक्षम होगी।

 BALCO sings MoU with HelpAge India forMobile Health Unit

Balconagar, Korba, October 8, 2021://// Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminium producer,has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HelpAge India to deploy a Mobile Health Unit (MHU) to serve and aid citizens from 45 communities of Balconagar and nearby rural areas.

Mr. Abhijit Pati, CEO& Director – BALCOand Mr. Prakash Borgaonkar, Regional Head – HelpAgeIndia, exchanged theagreement forms on 6th October 2021. Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Dy. CEO – BALCO, flagged off the MHUand dedicated it to the public.

The MHU, which is a van equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, will be managed by doctors and trained medical staffwho shall provide free medical advice and awareness sessions to the local communities. The MHU has been fitted with equipment for diagnosis of common diseases like diabetes, hypertension, etc. For the elderly and those confined within their homes, the MHUshall also aid in medical treatment at home. Medicines will be available for common ailmentsfree of cost. Besides providing doorstep healthcare services, the MHU shall also conduct regular health camps to spread awarenessabout the importance of nutrition and cleanliness, and various health schemes and programs run by the government.
