Special Campaign launched Yogi Government to fix water-logging problems

Yogi Government arranged additional funds for cleaning the canals Rural areas got rid of the problem of water-logging due to the initiative of Irrigation and Water Resources Department

Lucknow, September 13, 2021 ///// Taking an initiative to get rid of water-logging problems in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Government has launched a special campaign for cleaning canals/drains across the state.
In this regard, along with the provision of additional funds, a target has been set to clean the drains in the rural areas. The responsibility of cleanliness has been entrusted to the Irrigation and Water Resource Department.

With the help of this campaign, the damage to crops due to water-logging has been stopped and the income of farmers has also increased due to more production. It is completely the responsibility of the Irrigation and Water Resource Department to clean 10675 canals of about 59,212 kilometers.
