 Raipur, 15 August 2021 //// –. Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) and former MP of Kurukshetra, while congratulating the countrymen on 75th Independence Day today said that He and his team is committed to fulfill the dream of self-reliant India. He said that JSPL is manufacturing head hardened rails for safe operation of high speed trains at its Raigarh plant and is also manufacturing plates required for scientific and research institutions of the country.

Reading out his message at the Independence Day celebrations organized at Heritage Park, Raipur Machinery Division, Plant Head Sh. Arvind Tagai said that JSPL is not only building  the nation through its services in the steel, power and mining sectors but also throughthe services to the humanity. When the demand for oxygen in the country increased in the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, JSPL supplied more than 5000 tons of liquid medical oxygen from its Raigarh and Angul plants in 13 states including Delhi and saved lakhs oflives. Measures were also taken to protect employees and communities from the pandemic.

Jindal in his message said that steel has a central role in the development of a country, hence JSPL is resolved to produce 50 million tons of steel by 2030. Under this, preparations are being made to increase the capacity of Angul Plant in Odisha to 25.2 million tons. Work is going on to increase the production capacity in Raigarh also. Similarly, the Steel Structural Division is contributing to the development of important energy projects and institutions in the country. Describing social upliftment as the mission of JSPL, Sh. Naveen Jindal said that JSPL Foundation led by Smt. Shallu Jindal has provided food to more than 7 lakh people, more than 10 lakh face masks and sanitizers during the period of about one and half year of COVID-19. Simultaneously, meaningful efforts were made to secure and ensure the livelihood of farmers and self-help groups.

Mr. Nilesh T. Shah, Business Unit Head, Raipur Machinery Division, said on the occasion that taking inspiration from the national flag tricolor symbolizing unity-integrity, his company under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Naveen Jindal is dedicated towards serving the country. It was Mr. Jindal who fought legal battle for the right to our countrymen to express the feeling of patriotism by displaying and hoisting the tricolor with full respect 365 days a year. 

He said that Raipur Machinery Division is determined to provide necessary machines to many industries including steel industry. The Raipur unit has state-of-the-art machines as well as expert human resources and has the capability to manufacture any machine.

Raipur Machinery Division is an important partner in the target of expansion of Angul plant in the next 18 months. We are manufacturing Slab Lifting Tongs, Oxygen Surge Tanks, and Pressure Vessels for Different Projects, Various Cast Iron Equipments and Machine Parts in a time bound manner. Unit Head Sh. Arvind Tagai said on the occasion that his team is ready to contribute in every possible way for the development of the country. Factory Manager Sh. Rakesh Gupta said that Bauji Sh. OP Jindal had created a new history of industrial development for the economic independence of the country and whole team is always ready to take forward the dream of Bauji under the leadership of the Chairman Sh. Naveen Jindal.

The program was presided over by Mrs. Saroj Saraogi, wife of Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, COO, JSPL-Chhattisgarh and Mr. Suryoday Dubey, HR Head conducted the stage. The presence of Mrs. Neha Shah, Mrs. Manisha Tagai, Mr. Sunil Gupta, Mr. Kulbir Saini, Mr. Pallab Bandyopadhyay, Mr. Ravindra Sharma, Mr. Mukesh Tiwari and other dignitaries was notable on this occasion. In the program, Mr. Nilesh T. Shah hoisted the flag and took the salute after inspecting the march past of the security forces.

रायपुर, 15 अगस्त 2021 – जिन्दल स्टील एंड पावर लिमिटेड (जेएसपीएल) के चेयरमैन एवं कुरुक्षेत्र के पूर्व सांसद श्री नवीन जिन्दल ने आज देशवासियों को 75वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस की बधाई देते हुए कहा कि वे आत्मनिर्भर भारत का सपना पूरा करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जेएसपीएल अपने रायगढ़ प्लांट में हाईस्पीड ट्रेनों के सुरक्षित संचालन के लिए हेड-हार्डेंड रेल बना रही है और देश की तमाम वैज्ञानिक और शोध संस्थाओं के लिए जरूरी प्लेट का भी निर्माण कर रही है।

रायपुर मशीनरी डिवीजन के हेरिटेज पार्क में आयोजित स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में उनका संदेश पढ़ते हुए प्लांट हेड श्री अरविंद तगई ने कहा कि जेएसपीएल सिर्फ इस्पात, ऊर्जा और खनन क्षेत्र में अपनी सेवाओं के माध्यम से ही राष्ट्र निर्माण नहीं कर रही है बल्कि मानवता की सेवा के प्रति भी समर्पित है। कोविड-19 महामारी की दूसरी लहर में जब देश में ऑक्सीजन की मांग बढ़ी तब जेएसपीएल ने अपने रायगढ़ और अंगुल प्लांट से 5000 टन से अधिक लिक्विड मेडिकल ऑक्सीजन की आपूर्ति दिल्ली समेत देश के 13 राज्यों में की और लाखों लोगों की जान बचाई। महामारी से कर्मचारियों और समुदायों की सुरक्षा के भी उपाय किये गए।
