Lucknow, July 23, 2021 //// The state of Uttar Pradesh is on its way to conduct the largest examination in the country with utmost transparency, announced CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday while distributing appointment letters to as many as 6996 Assistant teachers out of the 69,000, thereby completing their much-awaited recruitment process.

Sending across a note of warning to all those who tend to vitiate the transparent recruitment process, the CM asserted that the government had already vacated jails for all such unscrupulous elements.
“We are going to conduct, arguably the country's largest exam in which the number of examinees is over 30 lakh," said the CM mentioning upcoming exam for PET.
In an event held at Lokbhawan, the CM distributed appointment letters to 6,996 assistant teachers recruited in government schools against vacant posts of 69,000 assistant teachers under the Basic Education Council.

While congratulating the newly appointed assistant teachers, the CM said that the government and its department has completed the recruitment process with sincerity and fairness which proved to be helpful for youths in achieving their goals. “In case someone tries to corrupt the process, our agencies are alert. We have also vacated the jails for such people trying to play with the future of youths in Uttar Pradesh by tarnishing the process of recruitment. We have already taken strict action against all of them and the state is already witnessing positive results”.
Launching a scathing attack at the previous governments the CM further said, “the performance of basic schools of Uttar Pradesh is very very high on the national standards of grading but some people do not like it. Before 2017, there were 1,35000 council schools. We all know how pathetic the condition of the

department was earlier. The buildings were in dilapidated condition and if there were buildings, those were without teachers. Furthermore, if there were teachers, there students were missing. The students did not have uniforms and children used to go to school barefoot. The whole department was just engaged in transfer and posting. Now when the process is transparent and the condition of government schools has improved to a large extent due to ‘Operation Kayakalp’, they are not liking it. They can’t digest the fact that the children of the poor are going to schools are getting a proper quality education. They know that if the child of the poor can read and write, then their casteist-dynastic politics will stop. Our schools are giving education at par with the public and convent schools”.
Expressing satisfaction on the fair recruitments, the CM further said, “ I am happy to inform you that our government has completed 52 months of its tenure. During this period, our government has given government jobs to more than 4.5 lakh youths in Uttar Pradesh. And no one can raise any questions on a single job. The recruitment process is done in a transparent manner, with sincerity, with complete integrity”.
While addressing the event, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma congratulated the youth on recruitment and said that the standard of government schools have been raised by the current government.”Studying in a government school is no more ‘sarcasm’, rather the schools now have a good building, good arrangements, cheap books for which the credit goes to the Yogi government. There has been a massive change in the education system.”
Minister of Basic Education Satish Dwivedi said that it is a historic occasion for UP when more than 6500 youth of our state are achieving their aims. “Ever since the government has been formed in 2017, the priority of this government is the only rapid development of UP, employment to the youth, better law and order and better infrastructure facilities, be it roads, electricity, hospitals, schools, etc”.
In the program, Principal Secretary Basic Education Deepak Kumar presented a brief description of the departmental activities, while the vote of thanks was given by Departmental Secretary Anamika Singh.
