CM inaugurates and laid foundation stones of 133 projects in Gorakhpur Development drives economic growth and raises living of standard of people There is no alternative to development Follow the mantra of ‘SMS’ to keep COVID-19 infection at bay

Lucknow, July 14, 2021//// Development is an important component that drives economic growth, betters infrastructure, and raises the living standards of the people. Altogether it will help in making India self-reliant, said CM Yogi during his visit to Gorakhpur.Stating that it is important to use money in the right direction for the development as it is a game-changer for the citizens and there is no alternative for development, the CM on Wednesday said, “The Government is leaving no stone unturned to develop every town and district of the state.”

The CM also made it cleared that once the project is approved, it should be ensured that no project is left uncompleted. This keeps increasing the rate of the project, eventually making it unaffordable for the common public., he added.Uttar Pradesh under the Yogi Government has been one of the flag bearers of development and growth in India. “When the entire world was struggling amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, all the plans and projects of Gorakhpur were completed. With the lives we all took care of the livelihood of the people,” said Yogi who was in Gorakhpur to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of 133 projects worth Rs 80 crore in Gorakhpur Rural, Bansgaon, Sahjanwa Assembly Constituencies.

Mask Is Must

Urging the citizens to follow the mantra of SMS, he said, “Everyone should adhere to SMS i.e. they must maintain Social distancing, wear Masks and use Sanitisers to keep COVID-19 infection at bay.”Appreciating the monitoring committees for their hard work, CM Yogi said, “We respect to the members of monitoring committees who were working selflessly to save the people of rural areas from the coronavirus infection,” adding, “The mantra of ‘Trace, test and Treat’ given by Prime Minister worked as the boon for the nation.”

Take The Teeka Jeet Ka

Vaccination is a protective shield and the Government is providing it for free. Therefore, people should not take it carelessly and get vaccinated with both doses on time. This pandemic has taken the lives of many of our loved ones and we should take COVID-19 lightly. Till the time the virus is around we need to maintain the protocols to remain safe, he added.

On children who became orphaned due to COVID-19, CM Yogi said that the government has initiated a scheme to provide Rs 4000 every month to children who have lost their parents due to coronavirus. The money will be transferred to the account of the child’s caretaker and the Government will be taking care of the education.

We Will Help Destitute Women Become Self Reliant

On women who lost their husbands because of COVID-19, Yogi assured them that the Centre and the State Government is with them. “Our Government is working towards the betterment of women who lost their husbands due to Covid-19. Camps will be set up to provide the pensions. They will also be employed based on their skills and will help them become self-reliant.”

In view of the probable third wave, the work of cleanliness and fogging is being done on a regular basis. Considering fears that the 3rd COVID-19 wave will affect children more, pediatric ICUs have been increased to over 6400 across Uttar Pradesh.

Praise From Apex Court

Stating that the Supreme Court appreciated the model of the Yogi government of skill mapping of workers/labourers, who came back from other states, and provided them jobs in their own villages, CM said, “We have managed to save the livelihood of the migrants by giving them employment opportunities and making them self-reliant.”

The Supreme Court acknowledged the Yogi government’s efforts to manage the migrant crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Apex Court praised the government for establishing a ‘robust system of registration of migrant workers’ when they returned to Uttar Pradesh after the lockdown was imposed across the country in 2020.It is noteworthy that the request of the people in Gorakhpur has been fulfilled. AIIMS has also been established which will bring a lot of employment opportunities too.The AIIMS and fertilizers will be dedicated to the public by October 2021after being inaugurated by PM Modi.On Tourism Development, CM said that tourism development includes not just roads but even old temples.
